Lagrasse

This is Kaley picking me some bay-leaves.

After having a delicious lunch at Jean-Claude and Claudia's we set off to visit this historic village in the mountains, Lagrasse. It was built in the 8th century and houses a monestary that I believe is still inhabited.

Something about grocery shopping is
much more fun here, maybe its
new interesting products or perhaps
that many essential items are much cheaper.
For example..wine, cheese, and coffee.

Rennes Les Bains
I thought it would be nice to visit
some hot springs today since it is cool.
This spout normally has hot spring water
flowing out but was only lukewarm due to the
cold, cloudy weather. This was all built by
the Romans.
These red poppies must grow
wild, they are everywhere.

Alet Les Bannes
There is a hot spring pool here but much too cold for swimming today. They have a bottling plant here also. You can bring your jugs during the week and fill up as much as you wish..c'est gratuite.

I have done much laundry in my day but have never dried clothes like this, surprising how fast they dry.

Voila!
